After the excellent experience we had with Stuart and his team during Phase 1, choosing them again for Phase 2 was an easy decision. From our very first meeting, Stuart impressed us with his depth of knowledge across all aspects of construction and remodeling. His pricing was fair, and his thoughtful ideas added real value to the project. He also came highly recommended by several of our neighbors, which gave us additional confidence in our choice. Because we don’t live locally, it was essential to find a contractor we could fully trust to carry out the project without constant on-site oversight. Stuart proved to be exactly that. He communicated clearly and promptly on important decisions, and just as importantly, he understood our vision well enough to handle smaller details independently, keeping the project moving forward smoothly. Throughout both phases, Stuart was consistently accessible—always just a phone call or text away. The work was completed on time, within budget, and to a very high standard. As with any remodel, there were a few unexpected challenges along the way, but Stuart handled each one with practical, effective solutions. He truly went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with the final result. As often happens, we frequently expanded the project as walls and the ceiling was opened up and Stuart worked closely with us as to what made the most sense and what was more “like to have” items. He gave multiple suggestions that we hadn’t considered or that weren’t in the plans that made a huge difference in the finished project. In the end, the house was almost completely gutted and new floors, walls, vaulted ceiling, and kitchen cabinets were installed. The entire project only took 3 months as Stuart’s team was between projects and was able to devote almost their complete attention to the project. My wife and I couldn’t have been happier. A year and a half later, we had an issue with a fire place insert - not really Stuart’s responsibility - yet Stuart coordinated with the fireplace rep to get the unit fixed while we were out of the house.
